Company Overview

At Bridgenext, we engineer Growth Operating Systems. Most enterprises have spent millions on their revenue stack and still aren't seeing the growth they expected. They have tools that function, but no system that wins. We help growth-hungry companies close that gap by turning fragmented platforms, siloed teams, and disconnected data into one integrated Growth OS. More than a technology company or marketing agency, we're a global digital consultancy with experts in engineering, data, AI, creative and more.

Our teams are made up of experts who believe in engineering impact, starting with putting people at the center of everything we do. Every team member directly shapes our work, culture, and values. Nothing matters more to us than a kind, respectful, fulfilling environment that supports everyone. Our flexible, inclusive culture gives you the autonomy, resources, and opportunities to thrive.

Position Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Infrastructure and Platform Operations Manager in LATAM to assist our client team.  This role owns the servers, virtualization, network, and data center coordination that keep the client and Insightly's infrastructure running day to day. Physical hardware swap outs at the Sacramento colocation facility are now handled directly by the facility operator (NTT), so this role is about architecture, coordination, and keeping everything that isn't physical hands running cleanly, not about being on site.

Ideally this is scoped as a managed service package along with the Infrastructure and Platform Operations Lead and Senior Database Engineer/DBA.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer Windows Server and Active Directory, including Entra ID sync, GPOs, LAPS, and domain security groups
  • Operate and maintain the VMware vSphere and vCenter environment across roughly 20 ESXi hosts, including storage, firmware, and vSAN
  • Plan and execute hardware refresh cycles and capacity upgrades within budget, including host and storage lifecycle decisions
  • Coordinate with the colocation facility on rack and power management, maintenance notices, invoice checks, contract and SLA renewals, and certified destruction of retired hardware under SOC 2 control requirements
  • Administer firewalls, VPN, and load balancing, including an in-progress migration to F5 BIG-IP, and maintain WAN routing to AWS and carrier circuits
  • Manage public DNS, domain renewals, and the recurring cycle of TLS and wildcard certificate renewals
  • Own backup and disaster recovery for infrastructure and virtual machines, including running at least one DR restore test a year to satisfy SOC 2 requirements
  • Carry 24x7 on-call rotation for infrastructure alerts and lead incident response for issues in this domain
  • Manage vendor and license renewals and cost modeling for infrastructure spend, working with Finance

Workplace:  Remote contract roles for candidates residing in LATAM, preferably Argentina

Must Have Skills:

  • 5 years of Windows Server administration and Active Directory or Entra ID management, including GPOs and LAPS
  • 4 years of VMware vSphere and vCenter administration at multi host scale
  • 3 years coordinating with a colocation or data center facility provider, contract and SLA management, not hands on physical work
  • 2 years of enterprise network and firewall administration, including VPN and load balancer platforms
  • Direct ownership of a backup and disaster recovery program, including running restore or DR tests in a SOC 2 or similarly regulated environment
  • Experience with 24x7 on-call rotation for production infrastructure incidents

Preferred Skills:

  • AWS experience, VPC, ALB, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, and cost rightsizing, for hybrid on-prem and cloud environments
  • Experience with Cisco or FortiGate enterprise network hardware
  • DNS and TLS certificate management experience, including public zone records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, CAA)
  • Scripting or automation experience for OS and patch management at scale
  • Experience with a prior data center or infrastructure migration (moving a workload from one facility or provider to another)

Professional Skills:

  • Solid English written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Strong team and individual player
  • Maintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by nature
  • High standards of professionalism, consistently producing high quality results
  • Self-sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or intervention
  • Demonstrate flexibility and openness to bring creative solutions to address issues

Culture Fit:

Comfortable owning a system end to end, calm under a 2am page, and honest when something is going to take longer than hoped rather than quietly hoping it resolves itself.
