Position Description

The Bridgenext Senior Salesforce Developer plays a critical role in the success of building custom Salesforce solutions. They are involved in all aspects of our Agile delivery methodology and are key to ensuring that our solutions meet clients’ business needs. Our development team understands where out of the box functionality ends, and custom development begins. They are curious, proactive and able to design features independently.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work at the direction of the client project team to develop custom solutions in the Salesforce platform within Financial Services Cloud
  • Provide solution implementation using a variety of technologies listed in the requirements; be inquisitive, but practical
  • Provide guidance to team members on the implementation approaches for both your work and the work of others
  • Participate in the code review process and also perform code reviews, as needed
  • Maintain a strong familiarity with and adherence to Bridgenext’s coding standards and best practices
  • Write test methods as a feature of your codebase, and not just a deployment requirement
  • Proactively complete peer surveys to support the feedback process for individuals and continual craft mastery
  • Earn Salesforce Certifications to support career advancement
  • Ability to work seamlessly within a team as well as manage individual tasks
  • Willingness to travel to client offices near Toronto, CA as needed

 

Workplace:  Hybrid.  Ideally the candidate resides in the GTA and can travel to our client office in Toronto.  Candidates outside this area will need to travel quarterly to Toronto for onsite work. 

 

 

Must Have Skills:

 

  • 4+ years Salesforce Development experience on Financial Services Cloud
  • 4+ years high-level Salesforce application development experience (that’s 4+ years of Apex, not 4+ years of creating objects, reports and workflows)
  • 4+ years developing advanced user interfaces on the Salesforce platform using Aura and/or Lightning Web Components
  • Strong understanding and execution of Salesforce concepts
  • Experience with Salesforce packaging
  • Ample experience with Agile/Scrum and test-driven development methodologies
  • Able to demo to the client and justify your implementation approach to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Responsiveness to requests from project members and supervisors
  • Salesforce JavaScript Dev I and/or Salesforce Platform Dev I certification
  • Able to articulate object-oriented principles in multiple programming languages
  • Highly proficient with SOQL, SOSL, Triggers, Batch
  • Intermediate+ core JavaScript skills
  • Intermediate Visualforce knowledge
  • Must use and understand GitHub / Bitbucket development practices
  • Experience with common API and integration patterns

  • CSS skills nice to have
  • Salesforce Platform Dev 2 certification is an asset
