Position Description

The SimCorp Dimension Developer will be responsible for configuring, integrating, and optimizing financial data workflows within the SimCorp Dimension platform. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to design reusable and scalable solutions, implement automation, and enhance system performance across key investment operations. This position demands hands-on expertise in SimCorp tools, strong XSLT and XML development skills, and a solid understanding of asset and portfolio management systems.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead configuration and integration efforts across SimCorp modules, including CommServer, DFS, Cartridge, DEX, and MQ
  • Design and develop modular XSLT pipelines to transform and validate XML data across content workflows and integration points
  • Build secure, automated data pipelines using DEX, MQ, and SFTP, enhancing data reliability and reducing operational overhead
  • Integrate XSLT templates into content management platforms for real-time data rendering, publishing automation, and compliance-ready reporting

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional needs and translate them into scalable, technical solutions within SimCorp

  • Manage the setup and configuration of batch jobs, DFS components, CommServer, MQ, and extractors, ensuring seamless data flow and integration
  • Develop utilities to address missing security data through external lookups and maintain robust data archiving mechanisms for audit and compliance

  • Support and maintain SimCorp DFS modules including financial accounting, regulatory reporting, and system automation

  • Engineer solution designs and automation workflows for fixed income and portfolio management use cases, including Bloomberg data ingestion

  • Partner with analysts and developers to troubleshoot, enhance, and deploy improvements in SimCorp configurations and related integrations

 

Workplace:  Hybrid role in Ontario, Canada with some travel to the corporate office in Toronto, ON

 

 

Must Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services or asset/investment management technology
  • Hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension tools including CommServer, Cartridge, DFS, DEX, MQ, and data extractors and integration frameworks including XSLT, XML, SFTP, CMS Integration
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across global and cross-functional teams
  • Experience in building compliant, scalable data pipelines and system configurations for regulated financial environments
