Position Description

We’re looking for a Data Analyst to support internal and client data needs through training and reporting on Transportation Management System (TMS).

 

Reporting to the Manager of Insight Solutions, the Data Analyst will leverage technical skills to perform data discovery, build reports and respond to ad hoc data requests across departments. You will work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and issues, then communicate resolutions in a timely manner.

 

As a Data Analyst, you will operate with an investigative mindset, proactively looking out for our client's data needs, interpreting trends and suggesting new and innovative ways to keep clients succeeding with TMS. Working closely with Commercial, Product and Data Engineering on defect management, industry logic and reporting requirements.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Author and maintain dashboards via Tableau/FullStory to support internal stakeholders through all phases of the client lifecycle: engagement, onboarding, implementation, support, & success
  • Troubleshoot and pinpoint root causes for Mastermind/Snowflake issues that arise to work towards data accuracy
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to help support day-to-day operations for Client teams
  • Manage day-to-day tasks and communication with internal and external stakeholders on outstanding data defects and requests
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders during data discovery to identify gaps, translate client reporting needs into technical requirements to ensure alignment with product offering and deadlines are met
  • Provide feedback to improve training and collaborate with new team members

 

Workplace: Remote work for candidates based in Latin America, headquartered in Argentina.  Successful candidate must be willing to support Central Timezone office hours, 8 AM to 5 PM  

 

 

Must Have Skills:

  • Proficient at crafting SQL queries
  • Experience building executive reports, data visualizations, and self-service dashboards in at least one modern BI tool (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a data analyst or in a similar role
  • Minimum 1 year of exposure with client facing analytics
  • Transportation and Supply Chain experience required
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify data warehouse and reporting requirements
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills ability to write technical requirements
  • Exposure to data modeling and data source design for reporting
  • Proficient understanding of relational data models and data warehouse practices
  • Rudimentary understanding of relational database management systems RDBMS (e.g., PostgresSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) and/or cloud-based data stores (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, etc.)
  • Demonstrates initiative and hits deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree or Bootcamp in data analytics, IT, computer science or similar area
