Position Description

The Bridgenext Sr. Project / Delivery Manager plays a critical role in managing a portfolio of concurrent projects across enterprise clients. This is a client-facing role responsible for ensuring smooth delivery operations, proactive stakeholder communication, and cross-team alignment. While technical execution is driven by Product Owners and internal delivery leads, the Sr. Project Manager / Delivery Manager owns the critical path, dependencies, client management, budget, resourcing, and timeline for each engagement. You will guide delivery teams to expected milestones, manage risk escalation, and ensure contractual obligations are met, all while maintaining a strong relationship with client stakeholders and internal leadership.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, each with its own budget, timeline, and team structure
  • Serve as the primary client contact for delivery-related communication, aligning regularly on scope, status, risks, and decisions
  • Track and maintain oversight of each project’s critical path, identifying blockers and driving resolution in collaboration with internal leads
  • Own project budgets, forecasts, and resource planning, ensuring delivery remains within scope and financial targets
  • Facilitate weekly and executive-level status meetings with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Product Owners, Technical Architects, and other internal team leads to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved
  • Escalate risks and decisions promptly, managing change control and alignment to SOW or contractual guardrails
  • Partner with sales and account teams to identify opportunities for additional scope, change orders, or follow-on work
  • Support onboarding and ramp-up of new team members across your project portfolio, ensuring resource alignment and clarity of roles

 

Workplace:  Remote role working from home within USA supporting Eastern and Central timezone working hours with potential for up to 10% travel

 

 

Must Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple software or platform-based projects in parallel, preferably in an agency or consulting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and resources across cross-functional teams
  • Proven success in client-facing delivery leadership, managing expectations and driving consensus across technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong familiarity with project and resource management tools such as OpenAir, Atlassian, Salesforce, or Azure
  • Understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and hybrid delivery models
  • Proficiency in tools used for project planning, time tracking, resourcing, and risk management (e.g., Jira, Confluence, OpenAir, Smartsheet)
  • Ability to synthesize technical input into actionable delivery plans and client-facing status updates
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, digital product development lifecycles, and enterprise software environments

 

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP, CSM, or similar certification
  • Experience managing globally distributed teams and offshore delivery models
  • Exposure to Salesforce ecosystem, SaaS platforms, or managed services delivery
  • Prior experience in a consulting or agency setting with complex client portfolios

  • Skilled at balancing multiple workstreams and prioritizing effectively across competing demands
